Whether a family is staying with their child at the hospital or housed with us, they are often in need of a welcomed distraction, snack or drink to get through long therapies or wait times at the hospital. This is where our Cheer Carts shine!

Ronald McDonald House Galveston is responsible for supplying all of the items contained in three Cheer Carts.

• Our UTMB Cheer Cart rolls through the pediatric unit, offering games, snacks, drinks and other essential items to patients, siblings and parents alike
• Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas houses a Cheer Cart for the families of a neonatal ICU patient, offering essential items such as toiletries, chargers, snacks and more
• Ronald McDonald House Galveston’s Cheer Cart sits in our lobby,  filled with snacks, drinks, toiletries, activities, and more. On the back, hangs a backpack for each child to grab and fill for their journey home
